THE BUILD CONSTRAINT
The original experience coordinates its scenes through one shared WebGL canvas. Here, lightweight recorded excerpts and explicit playback controls show that work without making the portfolio load the full 3D environment.

How can a design studio make its thinking visible before it shows a single piece of work?
FORM//ZERO turns the act of making into the experience itself. A signal becomes an object, the object fractures, and its fragments become structure. Typography, light and motion share the same narrative.
A fictional digital studio needs to communicate a point of view before asking visitors to explore its work. The central tension is between immersion and a clear explanation of what the studio does.
A signal becomes an object, fractures and becomes structure. Reusing that visual thread connects the chapters and makes transformation the studio’s organizing idea.
See the form transformNear-black space separates the object from the interface. Large editorial type and chapter labels provide reading moments between changes in geometry, light and scale.
See the visual directionThe eight chapters give the narrative structure, while navigation provides a direct route to a subject. The five concept work plates turn the studio’s visual language into something visitors can inspect.
See the work sequenceThe original experience coordinates its scenes through one shared WebGL canvas. Here, lightweight recorded excerpts and explicit playback controls show that work without making the portfolio load the full 3D environment.
A continuous visual idea is most useful when the visitor can still find a clear explanation and choose where to go. Motion and information need a common structure.
WHAT THIS DEMONSTRATESA distinctive digital identity expressed through art direction, narrative, interface and creative development.
Near-black space gives the geometry room to register. Amber, violet and cyan distinguish moments in the sequence, while large editorial type alternates between the room and the foreground. The contrast is part of the pacing: immersion, then explanation.

Eight chapters connect Origin, Thesis, Fracture, Offering, Construction, Identity, Method and Transmission. Chapter navigation gives the visitor a direct route through the sequence. Five conceptual work plates demonstrate the imagined studio’s visual range.

A complete single-page studio concept with a continuous 3D narrative, a work sequence and chapter navigation. One shared WebGL canvas supports the scenes; the portfolio presents recorded excerpts so the work can be explored without loading the original 3D environment.
Independent studio concept. Creative design & development by Prasoon Thapa. The studio identity and work plates belong to the fictional concept; they are not presented as commissioned client work. Project typography: Geist, Geist Mono and Cormorant Garamond.
